Douarnenez Classique – National Requin 2026

The Douarnenez Classic will once again bring together enthusiasts of small classic racing sailboats for several days of sailing and socializing, both at sea and on land, in the warm atmosphere that has made the event famous.

Organized for 10 years, this event brings together dinghy sailors and classic keelboat racers, as well as competitors driven by the same passion for traditional boats and authentic racing.

As every year, the Douarnenez Classic will welcome :

• la Coupe de Bretagne Dinghy 12’,
• la Coupe de Bretagne Dragon.

👉 The 2026 edition has a very special significance as it will also host the 2026 National Requin.

Designed in 1930, the Requin is an iconic one-design boat that enjoyed tremendous success in Northern Europe and France between the 1950s and 1980s. Today, it is recognized as a major classic sailing yacht, appreciated both for the elegance of its lines and for its remarkable sailing qualities.
