The most beautiful classic sailing boats are returning to race in the waters for which they were designed.
The Hoalen Brest Douarnenez Classic Finistère will take place between Brest and Douarnenez from July 20 to 25, 2026. With regattas in the harbor of Brest, in Douarnenez Bay, and passing through the Iroise Sea and the Tas de Pois, the race will offer an incredible spectacle for sailors and summer visitors.
Created in 2002 by the Yacht Club of La Baule, the “Voiles de Légende” regattas have become over the years the emblematic event of the magnificent waters offered by the Bay of La Baule. As every year, the sailboats will also compete in the penultimate stage of the “Manche-Atlantique Classic Challenge,” organized by the Classic Yacht Club, a loyal partner of the Yacht Club of La Baule.
This 2026 edition of the Noirmoutier Classic continues the legacy of the Voiles de Légendes in La Baule (July 31 to August 4, 2026) and the first stage of the Coupe des Deux Phares (C2P), which will allow the boats to reach La Baule on July 30 after departing from Douarnenez on July 27[eos]
First organized in 1999 by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez (Club Nautique since 1862), Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez brings together classic boats, some of which are over a century old, maxi yachts, and ultra-modern boats that are among the most beautiful in the world, staying true to its original spirit of fair play: “the most beautiful regattas on the water and the best atmosphere on land.”
